Introducing the highly anticipated and largest update yet, Revamp Xenoverse 2 Version 5.0!
After almost 3 years of the initial release of version 4.0, the Revamp Xenoverse 2 update is finally here, with 22 newly added characters, 75+ added presets for existing characters, 7 new stages (with variants), 1 new Revamp story quest, 2 new Parallel Quests and 7 new Expert Missions.
Most of the changes and updates listed below will be based on the differences between the vanilla game and version 5.0 unless stated otherwise.
From this point onward there will be spoilers for added content, if you wish to not be spoiled for what’s all been added in this update, please stop reading!

Battle opponents that reside in Conton City. The only catch is, the only opponent they want to fight is you! The Conton City hero's reputation around Conton City is that they are the strongest in the city and some people are looking to prove that idea wrong. The Supreme Kai of Time wanted to put that to the test in a gauntlet style tournament where you take on everyone in rounds where people can sign up in any way they want.

All CaCs will have the same transformed forehead/eye models for 5.0. This is something that we will change in a later update, so all foreheads/eyes will have their own unique transformation types.

Looking Towards the Future
After this update, there will be no more big updates like this (knock on wood). Doing an update of this size has been extremely draining and with Sparking Zero on the horizon, some of us have shifted our interests. We don't plan on abandoning Revamp entirely, but updates will slow down and be less massive from now on. With that said, we are planning to make upcoming updates more accessible to players. During the development of 5.0 we had been working on a solution where we can update Revamp without people requiring to re-download the entire project, sort of like a "patch" file. We can't guarantee we'll always be able to do this due to technical reasons with how the game works, but we will try having it available most of the time. One of the things that we're planning to release to make this happen is the "Revamp Launcher"

We're not going to explain in full detail what this does, but we're hoping that with this program we can make it easier for people to install/update the project with a possible addition of PTB (Public Tester Builds). Don't worry! Revamp will always be available to download from an external source, this program is just to assist people in managing Revamp versions.

It's hard to describe what the past 5-7 years have been, it's been an adventure from starting as a small model adjustment project led by GoketerHC, to what it is today with CaC overhaul and 30+ characters with custom skills and movesets, but through it all we had a ton of support and for that we are forever grateful! With 5.0 out, we know it won't be a flawless launch but we tried our best to make it as good as we can make it. We were running short on time with real life circ*mstances so we hope you understand why there may be some bugs but we hope you enjoy and have fun anyways!
