WWE SummerSlam 2024 Results: Will Roman Reigns Return Opposite The Bloodline? (2024)

Settle in because the day for WWE SummerSlam 2024 is finally here, and we've got you covered with live results.

Tonight, Cleveland Browns Stadium will have over 50,000 fans witnessing WWE's party of the summer. Six titles will be at stake, and there will be one heated grudge match with a notable guest official. On top of that, there is the possibility that we will see the return of the real Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns.

WWE SUMMERSLAM 2024: CODY RHODES VS. SOLO SIKOA FREE LIVE STREAM (COUNTDOWN SHOW)

Tonight's SummerSlam 2024 card is expected to be headlined by an Undisputed WWE Championship match. It'll champion Cody Rhodes taking on Solo Sikoa in what is now a Bloodline Rules match. Fans have speculated that we could see the likes of Randy Orton and Kevin Owens return to help Rhodes, who will undoubtedly need some help fighting off the entire Bloodline.

A big question that looms over the entire SummerSlam PLE involves Roman Reigns. Will the "Head of the Table" return to confront Solo Sikoa, who called him a "weak" Tribal Chief? We won't have to wait much longer to find out.

There is some bad blood over on the women's side, as Liv Morgan defends her Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley. Morgan not only put Ripley on the shelf, ending her world title reign prematurely, but she's also tried to tear The Judgment Day apart. Now, Rhea will be looking to not only get her title back, but to also get some revenge.

Speaking of bad blood, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will finally get to settle things in the ring. After the two scared off WWE officials, Monday Night Raw GM, Adam Pearce, was forced to make Seth Rollins the special guest referee. Will things awry for one of the participants due to Rollins' officiating?

Of course, we can't forget about "El Campeon" Damian Priest and his World Heavyweight Championship defense against Gunther. These two have exchanged harsh words and punches going into their big title match. Is it time for the "Ring General" to begin a world title run, or will Priest remain the gold standard of Monday Night Raw?

WWE SummerSlam 2024 Results

The show opened with WWE's Chief Content Officer, Paul "Triple H" Levesque.

He welcomed fans to SummerSlam and introduced music artist Jellyroll.

Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley - for the Women's World Championship

Rhea nailed Liv with a headbutt. She appeared to go for Riptide, but instead rammed the champ into the corner.

Rhea attempted Riptide, but Morgan reversed and sent Ripley into two turnbuckles. Rhea claimed her shoulder popped out, but demanded the referee continue the match.

Rhea was on the outside and told Dominik not to stop the match. Dom shoved Rhea out of the way and Liv hit him with a suicide dive.

Rhea then slammed her arm on the announce table and popped her shoulder back in.

Liv hit a crucifix driver on Rhea.

Rhea hits Riptide on Liv. Instead of going for the pin, he was ready to nail her with a steel cage.

Dominik stopped Rhea, pointing out that she couldn't win the title like this due to a DQ.

Rhea understood, but Liv pushed her into Dom. Liv hit Oblivion, but Rhea kicked out.

Dom distracted the referee, allowing Liv to hit Oblivion on Rhea onto a chair. Liv won, and Dominik was smiling

Winner and STILL Women's World Champion: Liv Morgan

After the match, Dominik confirmed his turn, kissing Liv.

Damian Priest stormed in The Judgment Day Clubhouse and demanded they tell him where Dom is. Priest grabbed Finn and asked if he had something to do with Dom's turn.

Finn said instead of blaming each other, they should find Dom.

Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker - for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Breakker ran into the ring post. Sami then dove on the challenger on the outside.

Breakker landed a Gorilla Press Slam on the champion.

With Sami perched on the top turnbuckle, Breakker did his trademark Frankensteiner.

Sami went for the Helluva Kick, but ran into a Spear. Breakker ran the ropes for the second Spear, and he is your new WWE Intercontinental Champion.

Logan Paul (c) vs. LA Knight - for the WWE United States Championship

Before the match began, LA Knight arrived in Logan's "Prime" truck. Knight smashed the glass on the vehicle.

Knight ended up putting Logan through an announce table.

Paul did a springboard moonsault to Knight on the outside.

Logan nailed Knight with a right hand, but the challenger kicked out.

Knight hopped on the top rope and landed a nasty looking superplex that looked more like a brainbuster.

Music artist MGK handed Logan brass knuckles Paul nailed Knight with brass knuckles, but Knight countered his springboard clothesline into a BFT to get the win. LA Knight has won a singles title on the main roster.

Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax - for the WWE Women's Championship

Bayley sent Nia to the outside, but Jax pulled her by the legs and landed a headbutt.

The champion leaped off the ring steps onto Nia on the outside.

Nia hit a rolling senton, but only got a two-count.

Jax went to the middle rope and missed a leg drop.

Nia got caught in Bayley-to-Belly, but she kicked out.

Nia landed The Annihilator for a near fall.

Bayley went for a suicide dive, but Nia countered into a Samoan Drop.

Nia went for another Annihilator, but Bayley lifted her up for a Powerbomb.

Bayley hit the flying elbow, but Nia kicked out.

Tiffany Stratton looked to cash in her MITB briefcase, but Bayley knocked her off the apron before it could be made official.

Nia Jax Powerbomb'd Bayley twice before hitting The Annihilator twice for the win.

Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk - Seth Rollins is the special guest referee

McIntyre and Punk wasted little time going after one another.

Rollins warned both McIntrye and Punk to break up their corner strikes before the five-count.

McIntyre hit a slingshot to CM Punk on the exposed ring frame. Seth Rollins was laughing at Punk.

McIntyre grabbed a steel chair and told Seth to turn around and let him batter Punk with the chair.

Rollins ended up turning around, but he had a change of heart and grabbed the chair.

McIntyre mushed Rollins, and Seth went to hit him with the chair, but he almost hit Punk.

Rollins tossed the chair and looked visibly frustrated. While this was happening, Punk was pinning Drew and Rollins was late to the count.

Punk locked in the Anaconda Vice. He then got his bracelet off McIntyre's wrist.

Punk was hit by the Claymore, but he kicked out at two.

The bracelet was left on the mat and Rollins picked it up.

Punk went for the GTS, but he realized that Rollins was wearing the bracelet.

Rollins was shoved out of the ring. Punk hit the GTS, but McIntyre kicked out as Seth was late.

Punk and Rollins argued, which ended with Seth being laid out with the GTS.

Punk grabbed his bracelet from Seth's wrist, but he ate a Claymore and lost the match.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

After the match, Drew put Punk's bracelet back on.

Priest was getting ready for his match with Gunther. Finn Balor approached and the two apologized to one another. Balor said if Priest changes his mind on need him for the match to let him know.

Damian Priest (c) vs. Gunther - for the World Heavyweight Championship

Priest caught Gunther early with a forearm. Gunther fought back with chops.

Priest landed a hurrcanrana followed by a Falcon Arrow.

Priest landed a massive chops to Gunther, and his chest was bleeding.

Gunther kicked out of South of Heaven.

The challenger began to take over, beating the champion down.

Finn Balor made his way out despite Priest's request to handle the match on his own.

Gunther kicked Balor, and this enraged Priest.

Priest hit the Razor's Edge. followed by South of Haven, but Balor put Gunther's foot on the bottom rope.

Priest found out by checking the jumbotron.

This allowed Gunther to sink in a rear-naked choke.

Priest escaped, but he went after Finn. Gunther hit the Powerbomb and locked in the choke again.

Priest was out, and we have a new World Heavyweight Champion.

The Miz and R-Truth announce attendance of 57,791.

A-Town Down Under made his way out and disrespected the city of Cleveland, as well as Jellyroll.

Jellyroll hit both Austin Theory and Grayson Waller with a steel chair. He landed a one-handed chokeslam on Theory.

Jellyroll, The Miz, and R-Truth did a triple Five-Knuckle Shuffle.

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Solo Sikoa - Bloodline Rules match for the Undisputed WWE Championship

Before the match began, Cody walked backstage with his dog, Pharaoh. He ran into Arn Anderson, who gave him advice.

Solo showed off his strength advantage early with shoulder blocks. Cody was able to avoid a hip attack.

Cody connected with a suicide dive.

Solo gained the edge with a Samoan Drop, but Rhodes eventually hit the Cody Cutter.

Solo caught Cody midair on a Disaster Kick attempt and hit a Sitout Powerbomb.

Cody hit a moonsault into a crossbody on Solo.

Sikoa was dropped by Cross Rhodes.

Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa ambushed Rhodes before he could go for the pin.

Kevin Owens ran down to help Cody.

The number's game caught up to Owens, but Randy Orton ran down to assist.

Cody hit another Cross Rhodes, but Sikoa kicked out.

Orton and Owens fought Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa into the crowd.

Rhodes looked to hit Sikoa with the ring steps, but he ate a Spear.

Cody went for a triple Cross Rhodes, but Jacob Fatu took him out with a corkscrew.

Fatu put Rhodes through the announce table with his frog splash. Jacob appeared to hurt his leg.

Rhodes hit a Super Cody Cutter.

Roman Reigns' music hit and the fans went nuts.

Reigns hit a Superman Punch on Solo Sikoa, followed by a Spear.

Cody hit Cross Rhodes for the win.
